This introductory sewing course, taught by Alyvia Schoener, owner of ScrapHouse Designs, offers a practical and approachable way to learn the basics of sewing while creating your own decorative pillows. Across three sessions, students will become familiar with sewing machines, essential tools, and fabrics while learning foundational skills such as stitching, seam construction, and basic finishing techniques. By the end of the course, participants will have created their own unique pillows and gained a solid foundation in sewing. No previous sewing experience is necessary.
