About This Activity
Teaching Financial Literacy and good stewardship from a Biblical perspective are the main goals of this course. In today’s world, learning money management is one of the most important life skills a young person can have. The students will be given the tools and knowledge on how to best use finances; not only in their daily life but also in their planning for the future. This introductory course will cover day-to-day financial decisions like budgeting, applying for a job, saving, spending, and consumer awareness. Students will then apply their knowledge by doing a variety of real life projects and simulators. Personal Finance I taught from a Biblical perspective will establish a strong foundation on which students will learn the vital role that good stewardship will play in their lives.
