Register with us at MSAD 44 Adult Education and work toward acheiving your HiSET (formerly the GED) Diploma and start on your career or college path. What is the HiSET? The HiSET® exam is an official way of showing that your academic skills match those of high school graduates. There are five computer based timed exams; Math, Science, Social Studies, Reading, & Writing. All new students must take a basic reading and math assessment test known as the CASAS before work in HiSET can begin. Registering with us will give you access to your FREE online HiSET Academy. We have a quiet place to study and focus with personal support to work through some of your HiSET in-person work. You will also be able to work in HiSET Academy online at home or anywhere. Teachers/tutors are available as needed (must register for those separately). HiSET is FREE to all Maine adults who register with an adult education program.
