Magnetic Zones of Happy Dogs - Teaching your dog social and emotional regulation Tuesdays, Jan 20 & Jan 27 5:30- 6:15 What is a magnetic zone? It’s the calm, safe space close to you where your dog can be settled and focused. You and your dog will work together to establish a grounding routine that takes the pressure off both of you. Dogs will learn that beside you is a predictable place where they can feel secure and their energy is organized. Bring lots of patience and an open mind. Please bring poop bags, a flat buckle or martingale collar, or harness and a towel for under water dishes. Owner is responsible for all puddles, water or waste. Bring plenty of treats, more than you expect is the correct amount. High value treats such as deli turkey and cheese work best. Dogs will be at least one year old at the beginning of class and will need to provide age appropriate vaccinations and town license to the instructor before attending. Please be mindful of the owner and dog's health when attending. Dogs and owners must be comfortable working in a group setting and around other animals. Owners should wear sneakers or comfortable footwear for movement. This class doesn’t address aggression or other anti-social behaviors in dogs.
