Recycled T-Shirt Yarn & Crocheted Rag Rugs We will take old t-shirts, turn them into yarn and crochet them into a rug! Supplies included: pair of crochet hooks, fabric scissors & some t-shirts for yarn to get you started on your t-shirt yarn journey and right into your rug! A major part of the fun and joy of these rugs is using clothes your family has worn down and you can't stand to throw away. Please feel free to bring your own to class or you can utilize what you have at home to finish off your rug there. :-) While we are focusing on T-shirt yarn this round, I will share as well how to upcycle, other clothing items & sheets into yarn as well. A basic understanding of crochet is helpful but not necessary.
