Join us for a facilitated support group to discuss issues of importance to you, including living with a disability, as well as finding support and receiving advice from others who may be going or have gone through similar situations.Discussions led by Jerry Alcorn of Alcorn Adaptive.
Classes will take place two times each month on the first and third Wednesday on Zoom.
This is a confidential group, photos and/or video taping will NOT occur during these sessions.
Location at Home: A comfortable, quiet area where you are able to listen and share openly. The class will take place on the ZOOM platform, the class link/ Zoom information will be on your receipt after registering for the class.
As a reminder to participants, parents & guardians; participants will be on a live video conference. Due to the confidential nature of this group the live conference will NOT be recorded. All information shared within this program is confidential and kept between group members. Please read through the following guidelines to assist in maintaining a safe experience for everyone.
You should NOT need to set up a Zoom account or input any information EXCEPT for the participant’s first name and last initial when signing into Zoom. Everything within the camera viewing area will be visible to the instructor and other participants. Sounds and voices can be captured by your device’s microphone and heard by others in the Zoom session.
The instructor may mute participants for portions of the session and may un-mute participants during discussions or to hear questions. Please ensure all household members are aware of the class times and the camera viewing area.
All participants must sign the DRD waiver prior to participation. As stated above, due to the confidentiality of this program, taping and photos of the support group class are prohibited.
