About this event
In this three-week course students will be introduced to the basics in making jewelry: bead stringing and wire-working. You’ll finish the course with a solid foundation in basic techniques that can lead you to multiple variations and advanced jewelry pieces. These simple, elegant earrings use the exposed beading wire as part of the design. Bright, metallic, or colorful fine beading wire works best. They require only a little bit of patience to make. Materials: Students can buy a kit directly from the instructor for $15 or bring their own materials: ear wires qty. 2 2 5" lengths of fine or medium beading wire 5-7 3-6mm beads per earring for total of 10-14 beads (may be graduated in size) qty. 7 1x1 crimp tubes qty. 4 2x2 crimp tubes qty. 2 bead stoppers qty. 2 (optional)   Tools will be available for use during class.
