About this event
Develop your observation skills and learn how to draw from a live model in our figure drawing class. This class will help you develop your understanding of proportion, action, line sensitivity, and the illusion of volume. Each class will start with short poses by a nude model (2 -10 min) and transition to longer ones (20 min). No class 6/19 Materials List: Newsprint Drawing Pad – 18×24 18×24 drawing board Vine Charcoal- Soft or Medium Charcoal Pencils 2b 4b 6b Kneaded Eraser Xacto Blade or Something similar Optional Additional Items: Compressed Charcoal 2B, 4B, square or round Brush pens (Tombo brand or similar) Charcoal Pastel Pencils Recycled Drawing Paper 18x24 The Inkstone on 2431 Durant Ave. near the UC Berkeley campus will have supplies and kits available.
