In this 7-week course, students will explore a basic technique for creating stitched portraits using thread on linen. The course will begin with an image chosen by the instructor to introduce materials, stitches, and design choices. Students will then build and stitch an image of their choosing while experimenting with a variety of materials and design choices. Each class will include a short technique demo as well as individual problem-solving. Beginners are welcome. All supplies are provided in class.
