About this event
The BW Women's Chorus is a long-standing offering of the Community Arts School and is open to women high school age and up throughout the Greater Cleveland community including BW faculty, staff, and students. The chorus performs a wide variety of choral literature written especially for the female voice. This includes choral masterworks both classic and contemporary, Broadway and pop. It is helpful (though not required) to have some background in music (instrumental or vocal) and basic knowledge of music reading and pitch matching. Of paramount importance is a willing spirit and open mind—come and sing with us! No audition is required to join the ensemble, you will complete a hearing at the first rehearsal. It is not necessary to prepare a piece for the hearing. Those interested in being a part of the ensemble should contact us if you have any questions.
