Description
“All the world’s a stage” — including the forest floor! Step into the living world behind Shakespeare’s words on this naturalist-led walk where short dramatic readings bring the Bard’s plants, animals and landscapes to life. From “where the wild thyme blows” to the lark “herald of the morn,” we will explore how Shakespeare used nature as inspiration and meet some of the local species highlighted in his works. This hike will be approximately 1.5 miles over crushed limestone and uneven terrain. Plum Creek Nature Center is an accessible facility.
Ages 12 or older. Participants younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
