The Conductor's Art is a multi-day conducting and teaching workshop, presenting band and orchestra directors at all levels an extraordinary professional development opportunity. Participants will have the opportunity to conduct the LSU Wind Ensemble, LSU Symphony Orchestra, LSU Symphonic Winds, and the LSU Chamber Winds, while receiving direct coaching from renowned guest clinicians and individual feedback from the LSU School of Music conducting faculty. This year's clinicians are Michael Haithcock and Edward Cumming. This Observer session allows the opportunity to observe all sessions and interact with clinicians and musicians with no podium time. Once registration is completed, your space is reserved and would be non-refundable. Any event discount offered by Active is part of a subscription service and is not being offered through the LSU Band Department. Please review terms carefully.
