Let's dive in & look at the basics of photography, see how they apply to your equipment, & learn how you can leverage what you have to improve your images. 11/12 Class 1 - Basics of Photography: Composition, using available light, & subject selection 11/16 Class 2 - Equipment Overview: Bring your camera in and we'll work through what's stumping you. 12/01 Class 3 - Image review: Students submit images in advance to the instructor with their comments on where they feel the image fell short of what they wanted it to be. The instructor will then go over the images during the class and discuss changes that could help the photographer achieve their goal. About the Instructor: Brian founded Aquadro Photography with his wife, Laurel, just over 10 years ago, turning their longstanding love of photography as a hobby into a business that has since served over a thousand clients from New York City to Massachusetts to MDI. Brian got into landscapes as a creative outlet between deployments while in the Marines & as a way to document his travels. Traveling with a camera in hand was something they bonded over early on, & they began photographing families & weddings together in 2015. Working with hundreds of clients each year in dozens of locations, from the streets of NYC to the summits of Acadia, Brian specializes in natural light portraits that incorporate the natural & urban environments. While light and weather conditions may constantly change, client expectations remain the same.
