Session Details - Session 1 (Ages 5–8) – Adventures in Minecraft Game Design: I will introduce the Minecraft Education software and set up a class server. Participants will be teleported to various lands where they will use available resources to build a house or campsite. The final 10–15 minutes will be dedicated to a class tour of everyone’s structures. (Duration: 45–60 minutes) - Session 2 (Ages 9–12) – Introduction to Scratch: This session covers the basics of Scratch software. Participants will create a small animation and play a sprite game to learn movement coding. These skills will then be applied to create a final ball-bouncing game.
