About this event
In the spirit of NASA’s slogan which says, “We make Air and Space available for everyone,” IMSA STEM Club’s Space-Weather Lab will give participants the chance to take on a series of space/weather-related challenges that encourages them to think like an astronaut, aerospace engineer, and/or meteorologist. Some of these challenges include discovering the connection between hurricanes and hot air balloons, understanding some of the science principles employed by NASA to train their astronauts for the strange (foreign) environs of outer space, and learning how to harness the power of chemical reactions to launch projectiles into space. We look forward to having you join us at Mission Control for a cosmic series that will aim to be both a blast and out-of-this-world!
