This spring, the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) will continue to serve as a site for the multi-county Institute Day where over 300 Illinois educators will visit campus to engage in professional learning. This event will be held on Friday, February 27th, 2026 and will be open to all educators including classroom teachers, specialists, administrators, and other school personnel. This year, IMSA will host sessions with a focus on 6th-12th Grade research, math, science, engineering, and technology while also including workshops on topics related to experiential learning, equity, history and social sciences. The event will begin promptly at 8:00am and conclude at 2:45pm. Participants may purchase a lunch to eat in the IMSA cafeteria, bring a bagged lunch or travel off site for food.
