Learn the difference in the two types of powder pastels and how to use them together to create colorful works of art. Using Callanwolde’s scapes and gardens as our subject matter (and your own photo scapes), your drawing skills and color usage will improve. Color Theory will naturally be discussed in every class. During our eight sessions, we will do some drawings outside among nature, some from your favorite “scapes” photos you have taken in the past, and some from new photos taken on campus. I can show you the coolest locations on campus to possibly take photos. You can also come on campus during the best lighting times which are early morning and sunset to get amazing photos! You may create these scape drawings abstractly, using impressionism or any style you desire. Beginning and advanced students welcome!
