This beginning-level workshop will cover the art of drawing portraits using a variety of methods and techniques, including simplifying the human head and facial features with analytical studies, as well as how to render and refine portrait drawings. Each of the classes will consist of technical demonstrations and in-class studio drawing. Our primary focus will be on the drawing medium of graphite. *Prerequisite: Basic Portrait Drawing for Beginners or previous portrait drawing experience. View the supply list here
