Description
Join Garden Manager Matthew Bagshaw for a Home Canning Workshop. We'll cover the basics of water bath and pressure canning, as well as which foods require which treatment for safe and shelf stable preservation of your seasonal harvest! This is a hands-on workshop. Each participant will take home a jar of canned peaches that we make as a group.All materials included. 10 registrants minimum required for the program to run. Piedmont Park Conservancy believes that cost should not be a barrier to participation.
