This fall we will explore making loops in the warp or weft to create a squishy pile that can be made into bath mitts and cushy rugs. Weaving will include the use of rods to create loops like terry cloth but larger. This will be a unique experience. We will be exploring different combinations of supplemental warp and weft material including I-Cord. Students who have some prior weaving experiences are welcome in this class. Brand new weavers are encouraged to take the Weaving Introduction Workshop or Beginners Plus! Class. Supplies available include 8/2, 10/2, 20/2 and some 8/4 cotton and are included in the registration fee.
