In this hands-on printmaking workshop, students will learn the basics of creating beautiful block prints. We will design patterns and textures from nature, transfer images, carve rubber printmaking blocks, and print onto paper, fabric, or to use with clay. Whether you're a beginner or have some experience, you will be guided through each step. We will also learn how to print from a single block or combine blocks into a single composition. By the end of the class, you'll walk away with personal custom printing blocks, prints, and the skills to continue exploring this creative craft independently. Open to individuals of all skill levels. Bring a meal for our thirty-minute lunch break. Please check your registration email for a link to the supply list.
