Bats of Wisconsin (Indoor Program) 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm Brian Heeringa, Wildlife Biologist for the Washburn District of the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, will discuss the bats of Wisconsin, and which bats call the Chequamegon Bay area home. Explore the diversity and importance of bats and the role they play in ecosystems around the world. An update will be provided about the impact of White Nose Syndrome and how some bat populations are showing a small glimmer of hope.
