Description
Brrr, it’s getting cold outside! We put on a jacket or turn up the heat, but how do wildlife keep warm? Enjoy a campfire and smores, meet live animals, craft your own “polar bear mittens” to test how warm they keep your hands, make a DIY bird feeder, and more as we learn about the many ways wildlife adapt to survive the chilly winter months.- Program Fee: $12 per participant for ages 7 and up.
- Participants: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Any attendee over 7 (to include adults) is considered a participant.
- Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PREREGISTER.
If you are sick or exhibiting any symptoms, please call the nature center at 703-528-5406 and we will cancel your registration and issue you a full refund.
