Description

For the 5th installment of Potomac Overlook’s new adult art workshop series, we will learn how to do a type of print making using a carving tool and rubber block! We will be joined by a guest instructor, Laura Damian, whose has been refining her block carving skills for over 20 years! Participants will learn how to choose an image good for making prints, tricks on how to easily transfer the image onto the block, and pro tips on how to best use the carving tool to produce a high-quality custom stamp. All materials will be provided and yours to keep including the carving tool. Light refreshments will be provided.

• Program Fee: $25 per participant for ages 18 and up. No children or pets permitted.
• Participants: Any attendee is considered a participant.
• Registration: Registration closes the day prior to the program. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST PREREGISTER. Drop-ins will not be accepted.
• Please plan to arrive 15 minutes early to allow time for the walk from the parking lot to meet at the nature center.
