Qi Gong is a healing art which involves performing individual movements. Tai Chi is a martial art that was used for self-defense but now as a moving meditation for health & wellness with many proven benefits. This class will combine movements from Qi Gong & Tai Chi in short, easy sequences to emphasize relaxation, mind-body connection and awareness of breath while improving your balance and overall strength. This class is for new students and/or those that prefer easier sequences (as we will not be learning the choreographed 24 Short Form). This class is highly recommended before taking the Tai Chi Basics class on Mondays at 5:30pm.
