Students will learn the basic concepts of American Sign Language (ASL), ASL signs and grammar, including how deaf culture, education of the deaf, and other factors have influenced American Sign Language. Upon completion, students will have a greater understanding of ASL and deaf culture through in class learning, videos and deaf guests and the ability to have simple conversations using ASL
