About this event
The EYC Jr. Fleet shared watercraft access program entitles EYC members & their guests to use the Jr. Fleet of kayaks and paddleboards anytime outside program hours. An additional $55 fee secures use of our Sunfish/Zests and $275 for J-22. Sunfish and J-22 use is subject to preapproval and a brief orientation on the equipment. All dinghy users must have small boat sailing experience. All J-22 users must have J-22 experience. *All members must be checked out prior to use. If there are any concerns with the member's ability to safely use equipment we we refund 100%. Guidelines: *Members must reserve fleet usage during approved/scheduled times. *Members need to be checked out on all fleet equipment before first use. *Check out will be scheduled through the Waterfront Office. *Members must Sign IN and OUT for each use. *PFDs must be worn at all time while using EYC Junior Fleet equipment. Jr. Fleet Equipment Usage Times: Spring/Fall (~April 15-Oct 31) 6am - dusk Summer 6/13 till 8/12 Monday through Friday - 6-8 am and 4pm to dusk Weekends - 6am to dusk (except during special events as noted on calendar) Frostbite (Jan 1- ) 9am - dusk Monday Race Skipper Option allows use of J22 ONLY on Monday nights. If you want access for other times, you select SIngle/Couple/Family and then Add On J22 Option. J22 Crew Option can not take boat out without a J22 Skipper Member.
