Grades: 12th - Adult. Level 1 - 5. Are you ready to take charge of your health and well-being? In this class you will learn the importance of proper form and execution when using free weights. Join our twice weekly Women's Strength Training Class, a transformative program specifically designed to help women of all ages build muscle, increase bone density, and achieve lifelong vitality. As we age, maintaining muscle mass becomes crucial. One of the greatest benefits of strength training for women is its positive impact on bone density. Our classes teach proper form and execution of weight-bearing exercises that are proven to reduce the risk of osteoporosis and fractures. Join this supportive and inclusive environment where women can celebrate their bodies and their accomplishments and become the strongest version of themselves! Class takes place twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Please note the makeup class is for cancellations made per Rec & Ed; we do not offer makeup sessions for classes missed by the participant.
