Grades: 12th - Adult. Level 1 - 5. This class is for women ready to take their barbell training to the next level. Designed exclusively for graduates of our women's strength program, this advanced course builds on proper technique and introduces heavier loads, progressive programming, and new accessories. Expect to build on your knowledge from your first class, with challenging sets of squats, presses—with an emphasis on power, precision, and personal progress. Train alongside a strong community of women who lift with purpose in a safe and welcoming environment. Class takes place twice a week on Tuesdays & Thursdays. Please note the makeup class is for cancellations made per Rec & Ed; we do not offer makeup sessions for classes missed by the participant. Instructor: Joelle Emery from Lily Weightlifting. 8 classes/4 weeks. (11/12 Reserved for makeup).
Prerequisite: Completion of our Women’s Strength class required.
