Grades 10th - Adult. In this open studio format, create pieces to be proud of! Create as many as 4-6 medium to large pieces incorporating techniques such as tile making, slab construction, sculpture, press molding, wheel throwing, coiling, extrusions, and glazing depending on your interests. Some experience is helpful but not required. Class size is limited to allow access to equipment and assistance from the instructor. To maintain a reasonable number of participants in the studio, you may only attend class on the day of the week for which you are registered. Please do not show up to another section if you have missed your scheduled section unless you have contacted the instructor. Fee includes one 25lb bag of clay (either red or white). Full scholarship participants pay $55 to cover materials. Additional clay can be purchased from Rovin Ceramics. Instructor: Mae Huynh. 10 classes. No class 2/15. Due to limited space and high demand for this activity, Rec & Ed is unable to offer senior discounts.
