Grades 9 - Adult. Roll, cut, and cook your own fresh pasta in this hands-on culinary workshop! Guided by Japanese native and community food educator Kori Kanayama, you’ll learn how to mix and shape pasta dough using a pasta machine, featuring locally sourced whole-wheat flour (pending availability). You’ll also prepare a wholesome, seasonal sauce highlighting fresh early-spring vegetables.

All equipment and ingredients are provided. Enjoy a freshly cooked pasta dish in class, then take home extra pasta and sauce so you can recreate the meal for family and friends.

Please bring: two large containers for pasta and sauce, plus one small container for any garnish or condiment.

Come hungry—and ready to rediscover the joy of cooking with what’s fresh, local, and wonderfully in season. Instructor: Kori Kanayama. 1 class. Register a second person for $69.

Residents in the AAPS district boundaries ages 65+ may be eligible for a 25% discount off one class per term. Registration must be completed over the phone (734) 994-2300 ext. 0, Monday-Friday between 8am-5pm. Please click on the following link for more information: Senior Adult Discount Policy
