Description
Adult. In this two day workshop, you will learn the joy of cutting and fitting mortise and tenon joinery by hand using primarily a saw and chisel. This fast paced class will introduce the skill used by furniture makers throughout the centuries to produce strong, long-lasting furniture without the use of nails, glue, or screws. You will learn how to use the tools properly and safely as well as gain knowledge of different woods and what you can create with continued practice. Note-this is a skills only class so you will not leave with a completed project. No prior woodworking experience necessary. All tools and materials will be provided. Laura Meyer. 2 classes.
