Grades 10th - Adult. Level 1- 4. The solution to knee pain often lies beyond the knee itself. In this 8-week series, you'll learn exercises to reorganize your feet and hips for better mobility and dynamic support. When your feet and hips do their jobs well, your knees and your back will thank you. You'll also work on undoing asymmetric patterns in your hips and shoulders. Balanced hips and shoulders set the stage for better biomechanics, significantly reducing wear and tear on your knees. This series uses exercises primarily from the Feldenkrais Method®, an approach that refines movement through gentle, functional patterns.
The instructor (Dale) knows firsthand how frustrating knee issues can be, and how life-changing it is to find a way out of that cycle. He has transitioned from a long history of chronic knee pain to walking, hiking, and running comfortably using these very tools. Dale is excited to show you how to do the same. An audio recording will be provided after each class for home practice, or if you need to miss a live class. Please have a mat or blanket and 3 folded towels. You will receive your Zoom information the day before your class begins. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder before contacting us. Instructor: Dale Jensen, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. 7 classes.
