Age 2-5 years & an Adult. Integrating sensory and fine motor activities into young childrens’ play significantly impacts their overall development, laying a strong foundation for future learning and growth. Each week, explore NEW themed sensory bins with exciting materials, textures and tools to delight the sense of touch and imagination. Alongside the sensory choices, participate in fine motor stations to pinch, push, pull and squeeze and utilize tools like scissors, tweezers, scoops and pipettes. Practice your child’s grip and control over small objects, hand-eye coordination and hand strength. Our large preschool room then opens up to you and your child for free play alongside peers including pretend kitchen play, building with blocks, gross motor play and more. Class ends with a circle time gathering together to sing and learn songs and fingerplays that engage fine motor muscles, join in hands-on group activities and listen to a read aloud story.
