Description
Individual adults or adults with children ages 5+.
Join us for a hands-on, family-friendly, winter sowing workshop, where you can grow heaps of habitat. Through fun and easy step-by-step instructions, learn how to start seeds in containers that will spend winter outdoors and start growing in the spring. Michigan wildflower seeds, soil and containers will be provided. Leave with plenty of planted seeds, smiles, and decorated containers full of future wildflowers. Please feel free to bring your own “milk jugs” (clean, dry, transparent, cap-less, plastic gallon milk-style jugs) or other appropriate winter sowing containers. Instructors: Seeds to Community Washtenaw staff. 1 class.
Fee: $25 (per adult attendee)
Children can accompany registered adults.
Keep an eye out for our seedling up-potting workshop in the spring!
Online registration closes at 12 noon two days before the class begins. To register after online registration has closed (depending on class availability), please call 734-994-2300 ext. 0.
