Description
Grades 10th - Adult. Level 1-4. Improve your balance while doing gentle seated movement patterns in this 8-week series. Just about everyone, regardless of age, can benefit from improving their balance. Even if you don't think you are imbalanced, you almost certainly are given asymmetry of our internal anatomy. Drawing from the Feldenkrais Method®, you'll do a different movement pattern/exploration each week with audio recordings provided for future practice (or if you happen to miss a class). Good balance requires many parts of yourself working together as a connected whole. Over the series you will improve balance by improving the organization and coordination among your feet, hips, spine, shoulders, neck and head. This class will be offered in a virtual format through Zoom. Instructor: Dale Jensen, Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner. 8 classes. No class 2/17. (3/10 reserved for makeup class).
