Nature Sketching: In this class we will spend a day at Gibbs Garden, taking photographs, notes and sketches of flora, fauna and landscapes as inspiration for our Nature Sketchbook. The remaining classes will be spent at the Art Center, using watercolor, pen and ink to create paintings in our concertina sketchbooks that capture the magic of spring. We will also learn about the work of master artists such as Hilma Klint, Henri Mateisse, Alma Thomas and Andrea Derain as we document our springtime.Note: Class fee includes transportation and entrance fees to Gibbs Gardens.
