EXPLORING POETRY: READING, WRITING, AND EMOTION with Sabrina Cleary

This welcoming workshop invites writers of all skill levels to explore the craft and play of poetry. Through short readings, lively discussion, and guided writing exercises, participants will experiment with rhythm, imagery, and emotion while discovering how sound and structure shape meaning. Whether you’re new to poetry or returning to it after time away, you’ll leave with several original drafts, new techniques for revision, and a deeper appreciation of how poems connect language to feeling. Bring a notebook, an open mind, and a willingness to write.
A notebook and/or paper along with a writing utensil is required, and a laptop computer would be useful.
