About this event
---Instructor: Keely Kirk--- Great improvisation isn’t just fast—it’s thoughtful. The most compelling improvisers know when to slow down, notice what’s really happening on stage, and make bold choices. This course is designed specifically for improvisers who want to deepen their craft. Instead of relying only on quick reactions, this course explores how intentional thinking, strong awareness, and big-picture perspective can transform your improv scenes. Through guided exercises, reflective practice, and creative challenges, you’ll learn how to balance spontaneity with clarity—allowing you to make smarter choices, build stronger scenes, and collaborate more effectively with your fellow performers. Learn how to slow down your reactions to make stronger improv choices, take bold risks while staying grounded in the moment, listen more deeply to your scene partners and turn uncertainty into creative momentum! This class is designed for participants with prior improv training (Level 2 or higher) or equivalent experience, not beginners, and assumes familiarity with foundational improv skills and concepts. Slow down. Listen deeply. Think big. Become a Thoughtful Improviser. Show date TBD. No class 5/27.
