About this event
---Instructor: Frank Shutts--- Come spend this summer exploring the works of American's best known Southern playwright, Tennessee Williams. Explore some of his most famous works as well as his lesser known one-acts like "This Property is Condemned" and "The Case of the Crushed Petunias." Other plays to be explored include The Glass Menagerie; A Streetcar Named Desire; Cat on a Hot Tin Roof; Sweet Bird of Youth, and Suddenly, Last Summer. Each meeting we will discuss and analyze one of his full-length plays and one of his one-acts. Two weeks before the first class, students will be given the titles of which shows to read for the first class. Classes are held for five Sundays and meet every other week from Sunday July 19 - Sept 13, from 1-3 p.m.
