One Credit Course. Prerequisite: Algebra I. No classes on 7/3 and 7/20. Students should bring a lunch. This one-credit course is designed to help students build a strong foundation in geometric reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical communication. Students will study key topics including lines, angles, transformations, triangle relationships, congruence and similarity, polygons, circles, three-dimensional figures, measurement, coordinate geometry, and right-triangle trigonometry. Throughout the course, students will strengthen their ability to justify their thinking, apply theorems, use algebra in geometric contexts, and make connections between geometry and real-world applications.
