Our revamped CA Explorers Camp now includes a field trip on every day of camp. Day 1: Capital River Front Campers will be able cool down at the Capital Riverfront which features some of DC's best water play. Campers can splash and cool off in the beautiful, shallow recirculating canal system and interactive fountains at The Yards Park and Canal Park. These water features create a safe, oversized splash pad environment perfect for running, wading, and playing along the gentle waterfalls. Day 2: Bicycling the local trail network Get ready to ride the best trails the region has to offer with a day of biking! On this high-energy day, campers will sharpen their bicycling and navigation skills while conquering the connected trail systems around Alexandria and Arlington. We'll explore the scenic riverside views of the Mount Vernon Trail, the historic path of the W&OD Trail, the bustling Potomac Yards Trail, and the challenge of the Custis Trail, learning how to safely Day 3: Indoor Rock Climbing Get ready for a week of adventure as campers will visit a thrilling 35,000 sq. ft. indoor rock climbing and bouldering facility with Day 4: National Mall and Spy Museum We'll spend a day on the National Mall and earn our junior detective stripes at the Spy Museum Day 5: Potomac Yards water feature and school-wide hide and go seek *This is a prorated shortened week of camp*
