Description

Maryville-Alcoa Flying Dolphins (MAFD) is a summer swim team with swimmers ranging from 6 to 18 years old that has served the Blount County community for almost 50 years. We are an active member of GKAISA (Greater Knoxville Area Interclub Swimming Association) and work in cooperation with Maryville-Alcoa-Blount County Parks & Recreation. We swim at Springbrook Pool and offer both morning and evening practices to meet your family's needs. For safety reasons, we cannot accept members who cannot swim. All team members must be able to swim a minimum of 25 yards safely to be on our team. We are a competitive swim team with a focus on developing proper stroke technique, increasing endurance and speed, while learning the importance of teamwork and sportsmanship in a fun, supportive environment. Members of the Flying Dolphins also receive a 15% discount on season family pool passes.
