Students will investigate ancient geological and astronomical wonders of New Mexico in this student-centered, hands-on, and activity-focused class. Students will take a guided virtual journey through the wonders of the Land of Enchantment where they will explore the vast treasure of geological discoveries unique to this state. While in awe of the geological marvels of the landscape, students will find time to gaze upward toward the sky and imagine being on an untethered spacecraft rocketing through time and exploring planets, celestial objects, constellations, and even dreaming of what might yet be discovered.
