About this event
In this fun, hands-on class, students will learn the fundamentals of what makes characters visually interesting and intriguing. Students will use various tools to draw and design original characters, building upon prior drawing experience and honing in on new skills and techniques learned during class. Students will explore design questions such as: What are secondary and tertiary details? Why can’t my character have seventeen belts? And many more! By the end of summer, students will have improved their artistic talents, and have a better understanding of the thought process that occurs behind every mark put on paper. Prerequisite: Students must have some prior drawing or painting experience to enroll in this class.
