This class will embark on a literary voyage that explores Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey, and the remarkable achievements of ancient Greek society. Students will discover wanderers and warriors while sitting down to a mystical feast laden with food for thought, myths, history, and archeology. They will encounter the beauty, mystery, and power of these epic tales while celebrating the amazing culture that spawned Homer’s legends and legacy. Prerequisite: Students must be reading at a sixth-grade level or higher to enroll in this class. Students will be assigned reading each day.
