"Harp I- Hands in Harmony: Strengthening Harp Technique as a Group" will be the next adult harp class in the series that follows the intro harp class "Muse on the Harp Strings." Previous experience with the harp is required to take this course (either at the Levanta Institute or elsewhere). This class will cover the following skills: playing with two hands, playing with proper fingerings and harp technique, playing songs by ear and learning to read music, creating, improvising, accompanying, performing in large and small groups (for the class), playing solo, and memorizing music. Harps will be provided for in-class use.
