Prerequisite: Skippers must have completed an ACSC course within past 2 years or pass a boat checkout. Age: Skippers must be 7 and up. Guests must be large enough to fit a 30-50 lb. life vest. Days: Saturdays, March 29, 2025 – Nov. 29, 2025 AND Sundays, June 7, 2025 - Aug. 31, 2025 (except when special events are scheduled) Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm (All boats must be off water by 2:00pm. Participants may stay in the yard to de-rig until 2:30pm.) Cost: $40 for 1 boat OR $70 for 2 boats OR $300 for THE UNLIMITED 2025 PASS *The Unlimited Pass allows you to take one boat per Open Sail Day. Location: ACSC Cove Boats: Sail Cubes, FJ’s, Fevas, Lasers, and Bytes are available on a first come first served basis. Open Sailing gives you the opportunity to practice and improve your sailing skills in a safe and supportive environment. Camp and course graduates are invited to bring guests along in their boats. While Open Sailing sailors are expected to be able to sail independently, we will have safety boats and instructors on water to help assist if needed and to answer any questions. You must have completed a sailing course with ACSC within the last 2 years or pass a checkout to participate. The Boat Checkout consists of a written knowledge test and an on-water skills check.
