Instructor: Christine Foulkes is a retired university lecturer from Britain with an M.Ed. and M.Phil in education. Her career has involved teaching in different countries. She taught “International Business Culture” at Liverpool John Moores University. Her research included “International Teacher Training” and “The Examination of the Bologna Agreement in European Student Mobility”. Description: The aim of these two sessions is to share my experiences during a month volunteering in the capture and release of cheetahs and leopards in the wilds of southern Namibia. The second trip, lasting two months in Madagascar, was dedicated to marine conservation in a remote village in the western part of the island. Living, working and meeting different people and animals will hopefully be portrayed in the photos I managed to take.
