About this event
Instructor: John Karas is a graduate of the University of Toledo and has taught at Harper College in Illinois. He held executive positions in three Fortune 500 corporations before founding an international corporation, leading to many years of international travel. After retirement, he served as Senior Energy Policy advisor to a U.S. Congressman. Description: The glory of Lexington and Concord, Bunker Hill, and the British abandoning Boston is a distant memory. Washington and his forces had been badly defeated at the Battle of New York. Washington saves his army by crossing the Hudson into New Jersey. Crossing the Delaware into Pennsylvania, he prepared for his attack at Trenton. But the story also includes the Marblehead Massachusetts Men who got him across the Delaware again. Session 1: John Glover and his Marblehead Men Session 2: Christmas Day and the crossing
